Sr Tactical Systems Engineer
Overview:
SEG is currently seeking aSr Tactical Systems Engineer to support our customer inDahlgren, VA.
Responsibilities:
Support analysis of recommended tactical configuration changes and in determining the impact on system readiness and user functionality for tactical impacts.
Interpreting design documents, program performance specifications, high level interface block diagrams, evaluating commercial equipment, part task training emulations and simulations for applicability to create flexible and cost effective training and readiness capabilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
8 years experience in the design operation and/or maintenance of complex US Combat Systems.
Must have at least 2 years experience as a Tactical Action Officer or Warfare Coordinator on an Aegis BL 9 platform or requisite experience as an instructor in BL 9.
Must also have 2 years of operational experience with C5I systems and Interoperability experience as a Tactical Data Coordinator, Interface Control Officer, or Joint Interface Control Officer.
Must have up to TS/SCI clearance eligibility.
Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocolsApplicants for positions which require a US government security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
