We have an immediate opening for a Mission Engineer/Architect to join our team.
This position will provide an opportunity to develop the innovative technology that supports some of our nation's most important defense initiatives.
Kitty Hawk employees work closely with our customers to develop solutions that support national engineering and security missions and the ideal candidate will support our team in providing program support to the Department of Defense (DoD).

Mission Engineering/ Architect activities currently span a wide range of technical communities (from established program offices to early science and technology (S&T) investigations) and include varying levels of operational support, including some travel to NAVY bases, involvement in fleet exercises, Wargames, and building mission architecture.
The Mission Systems Architect provides a detailed System of Systems architecture to help inform greater NAVY acquisition decisions, and model behaviors and effects of NAVY Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) during training exercises.
Modeling and Simulation activities include utilizing M&S tools, requirements definition and development, and configuration management.
REQURIED EDUCATION &
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering; or two (2) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical field.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- Understanding of M&S concepts or ability to run M&S tools.
- Knowledge of architecture languages including Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and frameworks such as DODAF to include Operational Views (OV), System Views (SV), and Capability Views (CV).
- Ability to manipulate data including spreadsheets and use of programming macros.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of Systems Architecture and System of Systems concepts.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- General understanding of MBSE principles.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Qualified experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
) - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, at a senior level.
- 3 years experience with integrated architecture tools with a preference towards Cameo and MagicDraw.
- 3 years of experience with Systems Modeling Langue (SysML) disciplines and use-cases.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Profile for DoDAF and MODAF (UPDM), or United Architecture Framework (UAF).
- Experience with the US NAVY or DOD programs and their systems.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
