Responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions.
Designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
Ensures software standards are met.
Provides engineering support for technical implementation of cyber solutions in conjunction with hardware product development, for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Conducts vulnerability research, penetration testing, malware analysis and reverse engineering development of computer network operations tools.

Qualifications:
Master s Degree in a technical engineering discipline Ten years of full-time professional experience in Systems Engineering (SE) or Engineering Design and Development (ED&D) Demonstrated experience managing DoD Software projects cradle to grave Demonstrated experience of IEE and other industry standards/best practices Demonstrated experience in Combat System design, core technologies and combat system training execution Demonstrated experience in Computer System architecture design and development Demonstrated experience w/DoD training systems and training tool developments Demonstrated experience w/computer architecture, Red Hat Linux 6 & 7, virtualization technologies such as VMWare and RHEV; RTI DDS Messaging, RTI-S High Level Architecture (HLA), Model Based System Engineering Software such as Innoslate and Cameo DoD SECRET Clearance w/SSBI These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Demonstrated experience with one or more US Navy Systems:
AEGIS, Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS), NavSSI, Global Positioning System (GPS)-based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Service (GPNTS), Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT)/ Advanced Training Domain (ATD) What We Can Offer You:
