Senior Training Principal (CSCS RRL Support)

Description: Job Description: - Sr. Training Analyst position with particular emphasis on Navy course revisions and curriculum development processes associated with Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning (RRL), the Navy's initiative to develop the right training at the right time, delivered via the right means. - This role will support the Center for Surface Combat Systems in Dahlgren, VA. Job Responsibilities: - Evaluate training programs to meet external customer or internal employee learning objectives. - Assignments may include needs analysis, custom course development analysis, development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and evaluation and learning assessments. - Collaborate with government customer and other functional organizations to develop, enhance, and/or evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content. - Monitor and evaluate training programs, assesses results, and recommends enhancements as needed. - Collaborate with CSCS and other stakeholders to design and develop effective training solutions to support Fleet needs. - Support and represent customer during training stakeholder reviews and workshops to include knowledge capture, rating domain analysis, media fidelity analysis and final requirement document reviews. - Support and represent customer during Integrated Product Reviews during the Content Conversion Phase of RRL. - Manage collection of required Government Furnished Information (GFI), to include upgrading GFI as course revisions occur. - Review training documents and provide feedback (IPRD, IMRD, TCCD, etc.) - Assist with preparation of Contractor's monthly progress reports. Qualifications: Specific Experience/Skills: - Extensive knowledge of Combat Systems rates and rating career continuums (STO/CSMM) - Must possess understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards with regards to the curriculum development process (FEA/BCA/JDTA/RTDD) - Instructional Systems Design (ISD) background preferred to understand processes put in place to guide RRL solution In addition to the Position - Ability to work independently as a member of a larger team and clearly communicate customer requirements while staying focused on primary goals - Significant job related experience in the practical use and application of Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook - Organized, flexible and reactive (Schedules/requirements changes come quickly and often) - Adaptive to any situation, covering multiple workshops/reviews concurrently - Effective presentation and documentation skills involving briefs to senior military leadership - Strong oral and written communication skills involving both technical and non-technical audiences - The ability to work within tight deadlines and integrally with a team Education and Experience: - Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD and 2 years of experience Security Clearance: Secret Clearance required Travel: - 75-80% may be required Required Clearances: - Secret. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
