The very best people come to Millennium and stay with us. Your typical day - Our engineers work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren (NWSCDD) Division in Dahlgren, VA. NSWCDD is located in central Virginia on the Potomac River and provides support to six additional DoD commands including Navy Air and Missile Defense Command and Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren. You will collaborate with other managers, analyst and engineering experts in your program - military, government civilians, and contractors from Millennium and other contractors; and help the Government provide in-service engineering to US Coast Guard ships, systems, interfaces and test events. This job may include some travel. Amenities - This career opportunity is on base at NSWCDD located on the Potomac River. The base has a cafeteria, fitness center and a bowling alley. Dahlgren has a number of restaurants within a few miles of the base. What are your specific duties? United States Coast Guard In-Service Engineering tasks may include the following: Review of CPCRs for the Fleet Change Review Board (FCRB) for Priority / Probability and proper documentation of fleet impacts Attend monthly FCRB Review of CPCRs for the Fleet Advisory Board (FAB) for Priority/Probability and proper documentation of fleet impacts, correct probability of issue occurring, operational impact, correct operational documentation of any proposed work around Assist in the development and review of Advisory messages Attend monthly FAB Conduct Assessments on shipboard test events and brief at required Mission Readiness Assessments to support fleet experiments  What knowledge and skills will help you be a successful analyst? Familiarity with naval weapons systems, combat systems, missile systems, systems engineering, and in-service engineering on Navy ships Ability to participate and assist in Navy in-service engineering events, review CPCRs, FCRB, develop/review Advisory messages and conduct shipboard test events and communicate effectively and clearly and present technical briefings to Navy leadership Must be pro-active, self-motivated, and not afraid to ask questions, able to communicate to a wide technical and managerial audience, and be willing take on projects not necessarily in candidate's current skill set. Enjoy working as a member of a team and assisting with solving complex problems. Do I need any other qualifications?  BA or BS (Math, Engineering, or Science degree a plus) 3-5 years of experience with Navy Missile Systems and Combat Systems desired; U.S. Navy/DoD background a plus   Secret clearance, or higher 2365

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
