Job Description Job Number: R0039029 High Power Radio Frequency Test and EvaluationEngineer Key Role: Analyze and evaluate complicated and difficult hardware devices or systems. Maintain technical responsibility for analyzing the planning and conducting of technical process or phases of projects and coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, and electronics technicians, as required. Recommend design approaches to new or improved products or processes. Consolidate the results of hardware design elements for assigned projects. Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component, or process specifications and requirements. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services, as needed. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed. Basic Qualifications: -Experience with electromagnetic theory, radio frequency (RF), or high voltage (HV) design -Experience with pulsed power or power electronics, high voltage capacitors, and power systems, including transformer design and DC to DC converters -Experience with RF or high power microwave (HPM) testing chambers and diagnostics -Experience with HPM systems designs, including HPM component and system development, such as vacuum electronics, high power transmission lines, solid state switching, and high-power antennas -Experience with RF data acquisition and analysis -Knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) practices and mitigation techniques, including grounding shielding -Ability to support advanced technology development efforts in electronics, electromagnetics, and directed energy -Secret clearance -HS diploma or GED Additional Qualifications: -MA or MSdegree in EE preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a securityinvestigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
